I'm Arindam, a software engineer based in Kolkata specializing in payment systems and agentic AI integrations.
Currently, I'm an ASDE-II at Publicis Sapient, working within the Tapestry Buy Team. My day-to-day involves bridging legacy commerce platforms with next-generation autonomous agents. When I'm not untangling state machines or optimizing checkout flows, I'm likely riding my Royal Enfield Himalayan, playing chess, or listening to Bengali music.
What I build
My technical domain sits at the intersection of enterprise Java (Spring Boot) and modern AI/ML workflows. I build middleware that speaks both rigid PCI-compliant protocols (Adyen, SFCC) and non-deterministic LLM tool-calling patterns (Gemini). Specifics matter to me more than generic architectures.
Current work
My primary focus right now is the Universal Checkout Protocol (UCP) middleware, a robust translation layer enabling Gemini agents to orchestrate carts and payments safely. I'm also heavily involved in Storefront Next evaluations to future-proof Tapestry's e-commerce presence.
